What's happened after the end of the Mongol (Yuan) yoke in China?
1, Two Million Mongol descendants in China experienced the cruel race cleanse, Ming Chinese slaughtered most Mongols and obliged the rest to become Chinese eventually, only a small part returned to Mongolian native land following the Mongol royalty, even a smaller part of Mongol descendants keep their ethnic identity secretly among Chinese untill the last 50 year they declared their Mongol roots in public and claim Chinese government categorized them as Mongol ethnic group, Most of them is the direct descendant of the Mongol royalty.
2, The end of Mongol rule in China, also brought out several great invasions of Ming Chinese into Mongolian native land and Manchuria (or today's Chinese Northeast), which led to the decline of the Mongolian empire and gave Jurchens(Manchus) the chances to revive by destroying the Mongol force in the east of Mongolia and Manchuria, who conquered both Mongolia and China eventually.
3, There were also the constant wars for the powers of the rule in Mongolia between the returned Mongol royalty and the former Mongol nobles in the native land, which led to the chronical choas among Mongol tribes and tribal alliance untill Manchus used it to conquer Mongols separately and subsequently organized the Manchus and East Mongols (today's Inner Mongolians) force to conquer China again like what their ancestor Jurchens ever done, but during the late times of Manchu(Qing) empire, the emperors stupidly disobeyed their ancestor's order to replant a large number of Chinese population into Manchuria and South Mongolia, which evetually led disappearing of Manchuria and making South Mongolia a part of China named Inner Mongolia.

I disagree with the first part. Of course, the Chinese had every right to persecute the remaining Mongolians. After all, they were oppressors. You talk as if the Ming Chinese should have given Mongolians praises for quenching Chinese people.
I wonder at your courage. Instead of singing about the great helmsman Mao, you curse China in every way. |

Sorry, Blad! There is no logic (meaning) in your message again!
If you don't agree with someone, then present your idea instead of denying others.

Well, Elch, let me state it again. Our Inner Mongolian friend laments that the Ming Chinese launched an ethnic cleansing of Mongolians who stayed afetr 1368. It is as if the Chinese should have caressed Mongolians' heads and said "Oh, thank you, for killing and oppressing us for hundred years". |

I wouldn't overestimate the scale of oppression of Chinese during the Yuan period of the Chinese history. One shouldn't forget that China experienced one of the greatest economic and cultural rises in the end of the 13th - first half of the 14th century for all its history. Qubilai qagan was eventually proclaimed one of the greatest Chinese (sic!) emperors, if not the greatest, by Chinese themselves. The same level of the social development in China was achieved only in the 18th century under the Manchu rulers Kanxi, Yunzheng and Qianlong. Mongols were the power which united China for the first time since the Tang era.
Read Henry Serruys. Mongols of China. The modern People's Republic of China is actually only about 30% of China proper. The rest territory (Munchuria, Xinjiang, Tibet and Inner Mongolia) was conquered by Mongols and Manchus during the Yuan and the Qing periods. |

What should do "small nations" (who suffered from a cruel russian dictatorship) with minority of russian ethnicity in their country? Following your logic, we will have to support "terrorism" in some way, which you hate. :-)))
By the way, do you know Blad that much less people dead during the Mongolian invasion if we compare to Stalinist or Hitler era! |
